아코르 ALL 롤오버 2020 Accor Live Limitless Rollover Status / Nights Clarification

Accor Live Limitless (ALL) on Tuesday released an updated tier extension policy due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

모든 로열티멤버의 스테이터스는 2021년말까지 자동연장되고,

올해의 숙박도 롤오버해서 2021년의 숙박에 더해질것입니다.

다른 멤버쉽 프로그램도 이렇게 롤오버하고, 아코르처럼 고객들의 입장에서 정책을 수정해주면 좋겠다.

특히 메리어트는 눈치만 보고있는중...인것같아 안타깝다.

 

ALL members had their status extended through the end of 2021 and stays on July 1 – December 31, 2020-period would be rolled over to 2021 to count towards 2022. It was unclear would these count towards 2021 status too?

 

Here’s the clarification we received from ALL:

Q: Can you double benefit from status points to jump up a status level in 2020 and then have these same points rolled over for 2021

• YES
• The 50% gifted status nights and points given earlier this year you get to keep in 2020 – you do not lose them
• And the status nights/points earned during H2/2020
• • • Will help your potential status upgrade in 2020 ( i.e. the gifted nights/points + earned nights/points could bump you up to next status)
    • and they will be rolled over and help you in 2021 to upgrade further during 2021
    • and they will help you to requalify for 2022 based on 2021 stays

 

Here are the updated policies:

• Status Extension: The status you earned in 2019 will be extended to December 31, 2021 allowing you more time to enjoy all the benefits of ALL-Accor Live Limitless.

ALL members previously received half the number of points and nights to renew their status in 2020. Members in Greater China had their status extended by a year.

• Points Expiration: To provide you ample time to redeem points, the expiration of Rewards points will be paused through December 15, 2020.

ALL members in Greater China have their points expiry waived through January 31, 2021.

• Roll-Over Status Nights / Points: ALL status nights and points earned between July 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020 will be rolled over to jump start your elite qualification on January 1, 2021, allowing you to earn elite status faster in the 2022 program year.

This is something new. It seems that members that were close to earning a higher tier between January 1 – June 30, 2020, will have the effort lost. The base points and nights earned after July 1, 2020, will count towards 2021 qualification requirements for 2022 status.

• Suite Night Upgrades: For Platinum and Diamond members, all unused Suite Night Upgrades as of December 31, 2020 will be extended for 12 months to provide you more time to enjoy a suite night upgrade on us.

Greater China Suite Night Upgrades were already previously extended through the end of 2021.
