작년 9월 메리어트 SPG의  마지막 패스트트랙이 아직도 유효합니다.

패스트트랙이긴 하지만 챌린지 형태입니다.

다만 고객서비스센터에 직접 전화 요청하여야한다고 하네요.

 

 TC 상에는  지난 3년간 패스트트랙 신청이 없어야한다고 나와있는데.

승낙을 해줄지는  복불복인것 같습니다.

challenge opportunity, you’ll only be able to register once every three years.

내용을 살퍼보면

메리어트 실버멤버에서 골드는 8 Night 

 실버멤버에서 플래티넘은 16 Night를  90일안에 숙박하는 챌린지 형태입니다.

 

이왕 챌린저를 하려면 플래티넘 챌린지가 가성비있으므로 16박 숙박으로

 막강 메리어트 호텔티어의 탑티어를 한방에 가질수 있는 좋은 기회인것 같습니다.

 

 

New status challenge program for 2019 launched on January 4. To initiate, simply call Marriott Rewards customer service at 801-468-4000 and select whether you’d like to challenge for Gold or Platinum (which must be done at the time of registration). You then have 90 days to complete:

• 8 nights for Gold
• 16 nights for Platinum

There is no cost to undertake the challenge, and you will not receive status until your challenge is complete. only paid nights count, and you do not require any competing status to qualify to undertake the challenge. The agent could not tell me if I’d previously done a challenge, nor could she tell me whether or not I’d be eligible for this new version. I am still Platinum from last year but did not re-qualify for 2019 status, and she offered to enroll me in the Platinum challenge. My guess is with the merger madness, you’d probably be able to register. Just make sure you ask for some kind of documentation confirming your enrollment.
